  1. What an amazing evening with such a vast audience and many new faces. The range of films had something for everyone and I really LOVE the archive stuff. How fab that not-so-little now star of “Mummy’s Cake” was in the audience and even better that she won the cuddly dog with her Granny’s raffle ticket ! I was particularly pleased to have been able to see full versions of several films prior to which I’d only seen tempting snippets, including : Lee’s “Two Little Words” and Basil’s “Sunday Down The Lane”. The relatively small team of OVFM members who work so hard during such an evening did a splendid job dealing with all those guests : the refreshment crew; the front of house crew; the projection crew. I’m sure that lots of additional hard work went on before with regards to publicity, planning and consolidating things – so a HUGE thank you to one and all, looking forward to the next show !

    1. Just to remind everyone that Deborah is our chairman’s better half so she is obliged to say a nice things about us! 😛

Joking aside, it’s nice as a club to receive feedback about our endeavours and it is equally rewarding to see such a hearty turn out. So thank you to all who came and all who participated in the running of the show! 🙂

  2. We agree with Deborah. It was a great turn-out. Our first-time guests enjoyed the show and commented that they were amazed at how many people were there.
